The aftermarket way: a universal kit, a screen stuck to the dash, wiring teed into circuits it was never designed for, and a result that works alongside the car rather than with it. And the OEM way: the hardware the factory would have fitted, on the connectors the loom already expected, coded into the modules so the car recognises, displays and diagnoses it like it was born there. We only do the second kind.
The difference shows everywhere. A retrofitted factory camera appears on your existing screen with moving guidelines. Retrofitted cruise lives on a proper factory stalk or wheel buttons. Towbar electrics announce the trailer to the stability control, which changes its behaviour accordingly — because the car knows. When hardware is integrated at module level, it inherits the factory's self-diagnosis too: a future fault logs a proper code instead of just quietly dying.
