Modern remapping doesn't need a ramp — it needs the right equipment and the right discipline. The van carries both: professional flashing interfaces for ECU and TCU work, full-system diagnostic equipment, and battery-support units that hold your car's voltage rock-stable through every write — the single most important piece of kit in mobile tuning, because a voltage dip mid-flash is how ECUs get bricked by amateurs. Ours doesn't dip. That's not luck; it's hardware.
The process is the same documented sequence the workshop runs: diagnostic health check before anything, your original file read and archived for life, the custom calibration written for your exact car — not a generic file flashed from a laptop folder — then verification and a road test from your own street. You get the same written spec sheet, the same aftercare, the same seven-day support. The only difference is whose kettle makes the brew.
What travels well: Stage 1 and 1+ remaps, DSG tuning and bundles, economy maps, diagnostics, fault finding and coding — the large majority of what we do. What prefers the workshop: long custom-development sessions, jobs needing extended drive cycles, and some bench-level ECU work. We'll tell you which yours is when you book — and for fleets, mobile is the whole point: vans done in your yard, around your rota, with zero delivery downtime.
